It's relevant, as it doesn't matter if they have a million asset studios working in concert for them, they have finite time and devs to put the pokémon into the games and make sure they work. The national 'dex had already started to impact GF development, SM's trials weren't coded in when the game moved to debug, because programmers were too busy trying to make the national 'dex work in SM to bother trying to make Trials (compare SM's Trials with USM's. Shit, they even had time to code in a Mina battle in USM). And the fact Ohmori ADMITTED this is the kicker, Japanese people try and avoid admitting they're potatoes (the developers of Pokkén will not admit it was an abject failure despite all signs pointing to that outcome) and yet Ohmori had no compunction in telling the world they didn't have the game done when they moved to Debug, as they couldn't justify assigning any programmers to Trials leaving him and a handful of designers to add the Trials in the simplest coding language going.
