I've been a fan of Pokemon since Gen 1. What got me into Pokemon was the fact it was animals with superpowers. Every gen afterward revealed more and more Pokemon and I always got excited seeing them; even now with Pokemon like Dreadnaw, Yamper, and Corviknight. But the fact the past 2 gens have had so much Gen 1 pandering is getting boring and stale. I'm sick and tired of seeing Charizard everywhere. It was annoying that Gen 7 had no National Dex, but at least I could have my favorites that I've collected since Gen 3. Now it's possible I can't even have that. This is genuinely awful and it's killing my interest in Pokemon, which is something I've enjoyed my whole life. I don't know what to do anymore.
