"Girls have cooties" mentality. When they were kids, Pokémon shilled itself at little boys almost exclusively. It was only with Gen 5 when they made a starter off a feminine character, then continued to pull inspiration from female sources, as a method of better-appealing to girls (not fujos/femcumskulls, but actual female children) as the Gens continued did they realise their boys-only club had been shattered and they were forced to share with girls.
Turns out, they can't share with girls too god, so rail at the fact Game Freak shills at them on an equal footing as them shilling at the little boy inside them.
