Honestly, no. I played Ruby and Pearl as a kid, and got back into it in college with ORAS. Then I got Sun, finished it, and got totally demotivated after breeding a bunch of mons. Pokemon battles feel way too simple to me nowadays; stuff like Fire Emblem and Bravely Default have way more complexity and content. I still like the designs of Pokemon, though, and I’ll be sure to hang around here for a while longer.
