I spent an unexcusable amount of time on this, but it was fun as hell to indulge myself a create Pokemon self-insert. I've always been a lot more interested in contests as a concept, so I think I would want to compete in them. This is written with the assumption that all regions have some sort of contest circuit, though some are less of a big deal than others.
I know my dumbass would get attached to Pokemon that aren't necessarily competitively viable, and I imagine if I had a team I would be constantly bringing back old pokepals.
