Today, I've bred perfect IV versions of my oldschool bros with all kind of neat egg moves. They may not be the best, competitively, but they're the absolute best they can be.
I love taking them onto the battle spot and going toe-to-toe with actual competitive teams. It's impressive when my bros do not get swept as easily as the opponent thinks they will.
