>>49137402First stretch of game without another boss fight - there's some more mega trainers, but I'll probably wait.
>Gym Leader TessyTeam - Masquerain, Seaking, Hydreigon, Zeraora, Tornadus-Therian, Mega Latias. Permanent heavy rain, but more interestingly, this is done in Camomons format - that is, every mon has the typing of its first two moves. This applies to me and her.
I lead with Grass/Bug Tsareena to Rapid Spin in case Masquerain Sticky Webs and I surprisingly kill it with a U-Turn. I send in Ground/Poison Avalugg as she goes Seaking, Fishious Rend is blocked by Seismitoad. From here the switching loop is established as Seismitoad -> Hydreigon -> Breloom -> Zeraora -> Avalugg -> Seaking - Electric/Flying Zeraora is eventually taken down by Avalugg, and Ice/Electric Toxicroak walls Water/Electric Latias decently enough with Dry Skin + Lefties, Protect and Toxic damage. With those two down, Dark/Steel Hydreigon swaps out of Breloom Sporing Tornadus, I go Dragon/Steel Altaria to smack it for first turn wakeup, she swaps Seaking, I swap Seismitoad, Scald to burn Tornadus and Protect to take it down.
Finally, Breloom takes down Hydreigon and Seaking to finish the fight.
Really creative gimmick, hope other romhacks/fangames try something like this out.
>>49138126Ah, shame I couldn't stay awake for Gio battle. Hope to catch what's hopefully the league fights next week!
>>49140456F, anon.
I will say I think Rampardos, Octillery and Pelipper are a bit on the weak side, at least for the E4 (I think Togekiss, Gyarados and Golduck would have been better, but I guess that's more awful grinding) but hopefully next time you'll have better options.
>>49140748BW2 is the much more fun game for nuzlockes, BW's issue isn't the fact it doesn't have oldgen mons, it just has little variety due to only having 150 mons.
Still, BW2 I guess might be confusing plotwise if you're not familiar with BW, so if you care about that that's a factor.
