>>56393971It's real but definitely exaggerated. Played Soul Silver a while back and by the time I was at the end of Victory Road my ace Feraligatr was at lv41 while the rest of my team were lv37-38. Only really needed a little grinding in Victory Road since the Ursarings, Gravelers and Golbats gave decent exps. Finished it with my ace being lv45 with the rest being lv40-41. The Kanto trainers also had slight level advantages but didn't really matter.
