Quacklin' literally stayed on my team through til the end of X, being the first to level 100 on it. Gave me a new appreciation for the Fetch'd and a new favorite overall entirely.

When I played Red, I was a dumb kid that released my Charizard after watching the show. I thought he'd be happy in the Charicific Valley, and didn't understand that I couldn't call him back whenever I wanted to like Ash could.

I didn't know about stats, at all. I was like five. I had DUX in my party, and arbitrarily decided he'd be my new starter. My new favorite. He's the first Pokemon I took to level 100, and I had a lot of fun using him.

Unless the opponent is slow as shit. A critical brave bird is still really powerful, and Leaf Blade ALWAYS crits under the new mechanic. Quick attack is always nice. Finished off a Mega Venusaur from almost full HP once. Opponent rage quit.
