I've always loved Sinnoh 214, and I never really knew why considering it seems like any other unremarkable route, but when I read the map description just now on Bulbapedia it does kind of explain its simple charm:
"The road joining Veilstone City and a lake is described as either "wildly natural" or simply "a mess."
There is a cave hewn into the sheer rock wall at the roadside. The hole was made by a Ruin Maniac."
Also the ability to catch Girafarig and Vulpix with the LeafGreen cart in make me like it, since they're two of my favorite Pokémon, plus the dual-slot feature is a cool but subtle game mechanic.
Overall just subtly comfy.
