There's less quantity to deal with in gens 1 and 2, but the storage system sucks ass so it's still a drag to view your collection, let alone organize it. Gen 3 is even more tedious and contrived, but at least the PC boxes are streamlined. It only gets more laborious from there (have fun grinding levels in HGSS).
How do you cope? What do you think is the easiest (or least painful) game to complete the dex in?
