I started watching the anime back in 1998 when I was 6 years old. I watched ash and friends all the way through Kanto, johto, orange islands and of course the first movie. A few months later my dad surprised me when he came home with a gameboy color and a copy of pokemon Red and it instantly became my favorite game at the time. Experiencing it for the first time as a child is something I'll never get to feel again but I'll always have my memories.
