I know Lugia fucking raped Ho-Oh in popularity back in the day where i lived, but people still got Gold over Silver (i got Silver though), i mean, GS let you get both anyway, so no big deal, Hell, if i remember shit right kids with Gold claimed Gold was better because you got Lugia at higher level (meaning less/no grind to use it on the schoolyard), but i could be misremembering, i don't exactly need to tell you how long ago it was since GS were the hot new Pokémon games.
