>>44887518I can kind of see what you mean, and it has been at least acknowledged once in the anime, but as I said I have a hard time buying this theory. To me it seems like they don't have plans for the character, and at least there was a role in the spin off games, and not because of the character's reputation. Like the link talking about the interview never gave that impression instead it seems they cut scenes due to time and money and for some pokemon their visual style.
