While cleaning a mug, Politoed blinks and recalls something important that might actually help push this case along, "Well! Y'know, as a matter of fact, I might just be able to help!~ See hon, earlier in the night a fellow came in boasting about his skills of techno-mechanics. Not only that, after he got a bit drunk he said he was going to tinker around with the ship's mechanics and all the little robo-bros as an act of "vengeance". See, I didn't take him so serious then, but y'know what they say, curiosity killed the cat and whatnot. I personally think my cat's cooked girl."
He gave us our drinks as he recalled a second story, "Speaking of which...There was also this other person earlier today. Asked for some cough syrup, it was the weirdest thing too. Asking ME for cough syrup? Kind of farfetch'd. I *DID* have some if you were wondering, I gave it to her and she was on her way, but on her way out, I heard her mumbling about being "all used up recently", I didn't get it. She looked sick, but she wasn't acting like it was a big deal, see? I had NOOOOOO idea what she was babbling on about, now."
He recalled a third and final story for us, "Come to think of it, there was also this OTHER guy here earlier tonight that was talking about an exchange he had made with another passenger on the ship. That exchangerooni involved some old scripture in return for some scrap metal. Y'know, the kind that can go for all the big bucks these days! Ehhh, that's all I can say honey, if only I knew their names.."
By the time he finished his stories, our mugs were practically halfway done with.
