meanwhile, I caught some new friends (Jake, Yorgos, Roman). Gonna make sure Roman will be a Palpitoad by the time I reach burgh (which will be v soon), cuz from the first gym trainer I deduced it will be a Steel type gym and that's kinda scary, considering the similar strength feature his Leavanny will probably be replaced by something fairly dangerous. Roman + Hax Overlord Nathaniel should be able to handle him.
Wasted my route 4 encounter, but it was a Shellos, and as you can see I have plenty of water types already. On the same route: Fishermen whose Basculin had been replaced by Magneton and Staraptor, respectively. Kinda scary, really glad I had Yorgos around or that Staraptor would have been a serious problem.
Also, the shaking grass in Castelia Garden turned out to contain Medicham, which would've made for a cool catch except it doesn't have Pure Power now, but Thick Fat. Yorgos the Dweeble probably makes for a better catch in the long run.
