Self-moderation also sounds like a bad idea for us; it does work in some cases, I know /vr/ was good at self-moderating for the longest time (but not anymore sadly), but look at Tailsfag, do you want to condone his actions? I greatly expect "self-moderating" furry porn would be done the way of Tailsfag instead of Garyposting. And what do we do if slugfucker comes back in full by the news and completely wipes the catalog with spam like that one time? How is self-moderating going to stop someone like him if actual mods couldn't do so until he got bored?
