Goh and Scorbunny are really terrific together and I get a kick out of Goh's "I don't know WTF you're trying to tell me, Ash" moments like during the Scyther battle. Did a good job of, imo, capturing that exciting feeling I remember as a kid of wanting to catch 'em all.
Shame how it was the episode that, if I recall, caused the backlash against Goh's character to really begin ramping up. Unlike others, I really enjoyed these early JN episodes. Seeing the hate this series (and Goh) got and still gets to this day is disheartening, honestly.
