I don't want to say he's not looking hard enough (sometimes there just literally NO WORK in an area), but do you know if he's just applying for jobs he wants to do or if he's applying for everything? With six years (again, HOLY SHIT), surely there had to have been some temp work/bitch work he could have done while looking for an actual job.
