The main story, postgame story and sidequests are finished. You can "beat" the game and Catch 'em All.
One feature (Battle Channel) got cut before release due to causing too many bugs and the devs said it could be reimplemented at a later update. Said update never came.
One town in particular (Polony) reeks of being unfinished or having half of its content scrapped, but even if the game were still being updated I doubt they would update this place.
From what I've heard there were plans to add a bit of content for New Game+, but nothing concrete.
Aside from possible bugfixes the only things I recall being confirmed for the next update before the devs went MIA over one year ago were updated sprites for some mons and balance changes (mostly nerfs). Personally the only bug I've faced in this game was a buggy cutscene in a sidequest involving some pirates, it got so broken that I had to blindly guess were to go next (thankfully it wasn't far).
