>>13047602>Alright startersA step down, but I got the two that I wanted anyway, so lucky me
>Easy Dungeons, MysteriosityYou've already played EoS - maybe the experience of that game got your general Mystery Dungeon skills up so it just seems easier. I personally only found it a tiny bit easier than Sky after playing Sky again right after Gates. Fully agree with mysteriosity, I liked how it made me change tactics slightly at points during dungeons.
>Stunning visualsAnd people still prefer the sprites?
>Great musicBest in the entire pokemon franchise
>Shit post-gameWell at least the paradise gave me something to hold onto after the post story event finished, which is more than I can say for Sky. After the post story events in Sky (Only half of them being worth my time, and only one being any good) there was literally no reason for me to play. Even then, Gate's single post story event doesn't get enough credit - made the ending have far more sticking power since
the perspective is changed to the partner, not to mention his reluctance to bring you back into the pokemon world, thinking what 'you' and your human friends and family would think was one of if not the biggest feel moment of the entire franchise>Longer storyNope, both games took me 16 hours to beat while wasting minimal time.
>Faster text speedAnd not mentioning Sky's slow walk speed in dungeons? Still, there was no reason for the text to be that slow, and coupled with the 'parroting' dialogue in general, it made things go real slowly.
>More and better charactersNo. No no no no. No. The partner was a bland bitch who I wouldn't want near me, the Wigglytuff guild were walking verbal tics, Dusknoir was a generic villain as you can get and Grovyle is almost totally stoic, but...
>Special episodes...a lot of characters were redeemed in the special episodes. By far the best part about Sky and Explorers as a whole
>Weaker storyHorrible partner ruined it for me in Explorers
