>>21345662Little update here: We leave The Capital, as it's called and head west. We bump into a friend of mine whose name we can't remember. He says his piece and leaves. Nothing too interesting. Going on to the next route, I notice that the level curve on these trainers is kinda scary, as it goes from 5-6-7 on the first trainer to 8-9 by the third. The last trainer has a level 11 Ekans. The good news is that experience flows freely and the poke centers are easy to access.
leech seed also trivializes most thingsOne interesting thing about the second floor of the pokemon center is that instead of the trade area, you can instead pay a fee to fight a trainer according to a difficulty level that you choose. Winning gets you exp and BP, which you can trade in for some cool prizes once you get enough.
I finally make my way to Little Stone, and find that there's a gym there. Unfortunately, it's grass, so I can't cheese my way through with leech seed. I reason that Pidgey's gust is probably good enough to get us past one trainer.
It barely was. The first trainer leads with a level 14 Sunkern, and follows it up with a level 15 Tangela, which I beat due to sand attack hax. I heal, fight the next trainer, and find out he has a level 17 Bellssprout. I beat him and decide to get some training in on the next route before I fight any more trainers. These trainers are much more reasonable, only having things around level 11
And vulnerable to leech seed. In the grass I catch a Sentret, which I name Kaolinite, and a Clefairy which I name Orthoclase. Should I put either of these guys on the team? I also have a Rattata and both Nidorans that I caught, if you guys want to see them too.
