I bet the anime will have it doing a lot of midair attacks. They love having Pokemon like Pikachu float or fall slowly when they're attacking, and Decidueye can actually fly. Wouldn't be surprised to see it hovering in place inexplicably to launch arrows, which doesn't really help matters.
I really like Decidueye conceptually. Owls are awesome, archery is cool, and after seeing Pokken show off the ghostly aspects of the design more effectively I love that part of the character. It's a lot of fun overall, even though the physics of it don't add up. I don't need a lot of realism in my fictional superanimal battles, though. There are definitely some minor design changes I would make if I was in charge, though. The bow wings could've worked just as fine with a more feathery than fingery look, for one thing.
