>>56181042You could try Emerald Kaizo, one of the first serious difficulty hacks I played. Only 386 mons, items are disabled for both players and A.I, setup and weather altering moves are removed from learnsets which've been altered across the board (doesn't apply to the A.I that abuse these things maliciously), lots of long trainer gauntlets (particularly among grunts which are stronger than average trainers), entire routes have been altered to linearize the path you take which make avoiding the vast majority of trainers impossible, gym leaders mons pack tons of Lum Berries making status very unreliable, even the ice puzzles and Trick House are kaizofied.
There's even cancer like encounter rates being suuuuuuper low to deincentivize grinding, but this can be worked around with a sweet scent mon.
I played it blind back when documentation didn't exist and seriously underestimated it. If you do play it I would advise against using any "shitmons", you may come to regret it.
also grabbing the invisible heart scales throughout the map which can be a game changer come Fallarbor Town.
