>>53641682Yes, I did, when I was younger I was a Bug type Maniac(and Human-shape enthusiasts) and would make Mono-Bug teams, Illumise(New to me, so I added it, also I like it's design), Ledian(Same as Illumise, but I hated the design of Ledyba), and Parasect(This looked cool to me, I tried to make it work since Gen 1) are the ones I'll have on my team. I would valiantly defend Bug types and lay out all the things Bug type can do whenever my lil Brother said they were weak and useless(He was a Dragon Maniac and believed if a move doesn't do damage, it's useless), now I'm not much of a Bug Maniac anymore(I became Fairy Maniac), but I still collect Bugs mons and add the ones I can make use of for example Illumise is a pretty decent Support also it's cute and I like seeing it, I don't like Volbeat much though.
Parasect and Ledian though, I gave up on them, especially Parasect in PLA that is when my lil Brother who hates Bug types and IRL Bugs pointed out it's too slow and after a while I started noticing it was the only one lacking in my Mono-Bug team, so I replaced her(mine was a girl) with Kleavor(which is also a girl) and my Mono-Bug team improved by alot...
For Gen 9, Spidops having the same stats as Parasect makes me not interested in it, But I do sometimes get the urge to make a Mono-Bug team run in SV and using the new Bugs to see how they perform.
A Mono-Bug type team isn't useless nor weak, they just required more work and thought put into which Mons to add to the team.
