Currently, my dream Pokémon game is a remake of Johto in the style of PLA/Gen 9. After you get the Pokédex and return the egg to Professor Elm, you're free to explore Johto however you please. The story trails you would follow would be the Pokémon League, Team Rocket, Eusine and the legendaries, and Silver. Once you get to Kanto you would get a new story about tracking Red down. Of course the map would have to be reimagined on a bigger scale while remaining familiar.
