Has 4 resists including Fight, only two weaknesses (and Psychic isn't common), immune to Toxic and absorbs T.Spikes.
Dragalge resists:
Fire, Water, Electric, Grass (4x), Fighting, Bug, Poison
Weak to:
Ice, Ground, Psychic, Dragon
Sure, it isn't Ferrothorn, but it's fairly solid with notable weaknesses that prevent it from being shoe-in-for-OU material, but it's certainly got a strong niche going for it.
Not to mention, it's got good offensive presence for a defensive mon due to good STAB (Poison STAB actually being useful in some measure due to Fairy type) + Adaptability + coverage moves in Thunderbolt and Surf.
It's typing definitely has good things going for it. Not unconditionally like Bug/Steel or Steel/Grass, but solid overall for what it does.
