Also its stupid that you think fossilmons shouldn't get a pass when we don't even know how the animals TRULY LOOKED LIKE. Artistic restorations are not even 100% accurate with the creature's appearance as they're just the outputs of human imagination. The toucan is an existing animal and we know every single detail about the toucan's actual aesthetics. Instead of Gamefreak plagiarizing mother nature like that, why can't they be assed to make a toucan look unique or interesting rather than just tracing a toucan and calling it a day? Hell if it was a toucan with woodpecker characteristics the design would've been FAR from being a flawed mess.
