>>48329007You're a fucking idiot. A million dominoes set to fall in sequence is nowhere near as complex as Go despite the latter having the merest fraction of the total elements compared to the former. There are many cases in which the number of elements within a system detract from the system's overall complexity. It's about interactivity among elements; not the total number of elements present. Abilities in Pokemon are one of those detractors because of how so many of them are generally either meta-defining or completely irrelevant; there are only a handful of them that are genuinely "good" or can interact uniquely with an associated Pokemon's moveset. They really don't add a lot to the holistic system that defines player interactivity within the game.
