To clarify further. I know nothing of FDS as a place. Only in that the person speaking had points about the treatment of women that I agreed with. Which is that they should be treated respectfully.
To your point of engaging with shitposters. I don't mind engagement if both parties are able to come to an understanding. Communication is something I value. But if the poster replies poorly in ways that don't contribute to good communication, then I am likely to stop replying.
