Houndstone is effectively a win condition. You HAVE TO keep your dedicated Last Respects immunity/absorber alive until the end of the game, and it has to be capable of beating Houndstone otherwise. Houndstone also has decent defense and gets Body Press, so Normal types have to be able to out damage that. It gets Play Rough to deal with Dark types as well, and it can choose from 2 great abilities, Sand Rush and Fluffy.
