My understanding: If I defeat a pokemon, any kind, from trainer or wild, I will get the number of EV points that pokemon has distributed across every pokemon that battled it (how it's distributed, if it's one for each or an even split, I don't know)
I can find which EVs are given from which defeated pokemon from looking up which ones I'm fighting. 4 EVs equals one 'point' in that stat. Each point in that stat is rewarded upon level up.
Therefore, it's in my best interest to fight low EXP yield pokemon for the maximum amount of EV yield, correct? Since there's no upper limit on the number of EVs acquired upon leveling up. Right?
