Shills like to gloat about the sales but the fact is the Pokémon games really don’t sell all that much better compared to 20 years ago (I’m not even gonna talk about the Pokemania days). I can’t imagine it makes the investors very happy to see the series stagnate like that after Go’s breakout success and sales like pic related being the norm for other big franchises these days.
