Ninetales' ability prevents all effects of attacks (even damage) from EX or GX pokemon, which are rampant everywhere, so that makes it a very good choice even if it only hits for 110 with a Choice Band. Glaceon EX on the other hand has an attack that does 70 (100 with Band) but prevents all damage from Evolution pokemon on the next turn after you use it, which is good against decks like Metagross (your weakness), Gardevoir, and so on. Combined with things like Manaphy EX who lets you retreat for free if you have a Water energy attached, Aqua Patch for recurring energies from discard, and Max Elixirs to accelerate those energies onto your Glaceons or Vulpix, it's a pretty solid deck, if not a little weak damage wise. That can easily be fixed by adding Ninetales GX to the mix though, who can hit for 160 or even push all of the damage it's taken onto your opponent with it's GX. Overall it's a very good deck and one I recommend to all beginners.
This is my list I posted last thread and it's not hard to make aside from the Leles, but you can always use more Glaceon EX or something until you can pick them up and use more regular Ninetales until you get the GXs. I've seen a lot of people go 2-2 for the Ninetales, but I feel like one is enough most times.
