Seriously, we should strive to go for as many unique combinations as we can on top of at least one strong single-type Pokemon (hell, pure flying and pure steel need more love).
I'd say, look at the list and look at anything with only 3 or below. The top 10 type combos combined makes up almost half the roster, it's ridiculous. Forget about type balance viability and let them inspire you to make something different from the usual schmuck.
