The first season was mediocre and had little to do with the original franchise. Naturally they needed a Mertle Edmunds knockoff, so their first one was an ugly blonde twat.
Eventually, they changed studios, moved the main character to the main Okinawa Island (she was in a neighboring island in the other seasons) and changed up the supporting characters. This introduced a knew school rival, who ended up being this girl, who is superior in every way to both the blonde twat and even the original Mertle.
She also had her subordinates, who ended up with more characterization than Mertle's friends had.
The third season can be found on Youtube, and this girl plays a fairly large role in the season, particularly in the first few episodes.
