>>47071133Different anon but while that’s not the damage cause, it is on the right track. Probably just easier to type than the actual cause of damage, which is the reaction between the slab plastic and the cardboard. Also when you send cards in, PSA and other slab makers clean them before grading. That residue is left on the card and overtime corrodes it, as mentioned in the very long thread starting with pic related post. While the residue is not usually seeable, there’s a ton of info about card corrosion post-grading due to trace amounts left on the card.
