>>38392766>In some cases the enemy can take one fly, but not two Wing Attacks. This leaves the enemy open to score more hits even with the invulnerable turnThis still means you're taking one hit, just over more turns.
>Fly can actually miss without even getting your accuracy loweredForgot to consider that. Fair point.
>All of which are significant benefits that beat what Fly has to offer in return.Outside of competitive, setting up almost never occurs outside of the very rare one Pokemon a major trainer has that sets up reflect/light screen, and it's fairly easy to tell when it will do so. On the other hand, PP-stalling for trainers in the endgame, when moves like Fire Blast are a lot more common, has much greater prevalence than the negatives.
>Fly, best flying move in gamePic related.
Still, I'm done arguing for why it's better than Wing Attack. I've made my point clear and you still don't understand what I'm saying.
>Drill Peck and Brave Bird are leagues better and are easily the best physical flying moves. If you want the most efficient moves for a Pokemon then that's perfectly fine. There's a reason the move forgetter exists. However's for Pokemon, such as Altaria, that can't learn these moves on their own, it's a convenient alternative and not a necessarily bad one at that.
