The starter evos weren't exactly what I was expecting nor really hoping for in some aspects (Chesnaught color scheme mainly and was kinda hoping for Fennekin's 3rd evo to at least keep the broom idea going), but the more I look at them the more I like them.
Some disappointment (Swirlix evo and m-muh plague doctor), but what Gen haven't you been disappointed with some things including designs of the monsters themselves?
Nothing's perfect, I'll still get the game and enjoy the fuck out of it.
Haven't wanted a game this badly since I was a kid and my father brought back a Japanese Green version back from a business trip he went on to Japan; Played it through the entire way by some miracle and when it came out in the US I was hooked. I want to be enthralled by adventure again. From the majority of the leaks, this game looks pretty long and full of stuff to do so I'm pretty goddamn giddy.
