Same for when they pretty much removed all ambiguity on whether pokemon eat each other in gen 7 by making a required story cutscene mention Toxapex eating Corsola, as well as various pokedex entries like Luvdisc and Weavile adding predator-prey relationships where there weren't any before. Pic related is an example of the latter regarding trained pokemon attacking people. You may get some optional subtext about it through NPCs or pokedex entries, but it's not going to occur much on the required path to beating the game.
