My pre-Clair team, which I think is a tradition in GSC HGSS runs.
>Misdreavus
Bold nature is great, it also has good Def IVs, truth be told I reset a couple times after getting -SpAtk natures and not wanting to gimp myself. Surprisingly beefy, strong, and fast. Learns Shadow Ball only at Level 37 which is a bummer.
>Arbok
I had this for most the game and early Bite, Crunch, Glare, and Screech is an amazing toolkit. Also has Intimidate that makes it so much more bulky against physical threats. The difference between Gen3 and Gen4 is night and day.
>Miltank
Unkillable. It's got high everything, and with Thick Fat it has 3 resists, 1 immunity, and 1 weakness. Milk Drink + Body Slam parahax is god tier ingame. Gave it Facade so if it gets Para'd I can do 252 BP Facades with a Silk Scarf on.
>Lanturn
Great typing, nice moves, decent stats, pretty bulky. Seems like it's always in range of just not killing with Surf which is a shame, but the ability to swap in on a TWave is nice later on.
>Xatu
Cleaned house while I was training it on Rockets, nothing has any SpDef and many have a Psychic or Wind weakness. If she makes it I'm going to Me First Dragonites with priority Outrages.
>Tangrowth
Caught the Tangela and wasn't too sure about it having a Careful nature but then remembered that I had Seed Bomb, Sucker Punch, and Drain Punch as TMs. With the Voltorb Flip Zoom Lens, his poor speed and Sleep Powder I EVd it as a slow tank.
>Mamoswine
Swinub and Piloswine suck, Mamoswine is a beast. Gave it a Metronome so I can spam either EQ or Ice Shard and get stronger+STAB. Hope I get something over Icy Wind, but if not it's a decent support move.
