>>56931005Super underrated pairing.
Some aspects of their characters are very contrasting. They're bound to have a bit of friction which makes it fun to think about.
Their upbringing basically couldn't be any more different: Arven is a severe child neglect victim, while Penny feels like her father is too clingy. She wishes he wouldn't dote on her so much, probably because she's a distant person and wants to be left alone most of the time. Initially, they really can't relate to each other, which is why there's a lot of tension between them in Area Zero. But ultimately, Penny could learn to appreciate her father through Arven, and I guess Arven gets to experience that there is no such thing as a perfect parent.
Then there's of course the fact that Arven is very outdoorsy while Penny is a shut-in. It's another thing where they seem like opposites, but could learn how to enjoy and appreciate the other person's perspective eventually.
Another thing is how Penny is very booksmart, while Arven is more "street smart". Penny knows math, computers etc, which Arven seems pretty clueless about. But he knows shit like how to keep a household properly and studies humanities. So they would kinda complement each other and cover a large area of knowledge combined.
But they actually also DO have something very much in common.
As we know, Penny canonically watches anime, so she's obviously a weeb. But Arven's room is actually FULL of manga, which means he's just as much of a weeb. Maybe he's a bit snobby about it - y'know, those types who think reading the manga is always superior to watching the anime adaptation. So that could make for some fun bickering between them, which could also result in learning to appreciate things about the other's preferences.
Anyway, point is: they'd be an odd couple for sure, but that's what makes them so fun.
>I want to see him non-judgmentally help her develop healthier eating and sleep habits.Yeah, me too. She could use a bit more weight honestly.
