You get it, you totally get it. Serena wants a dream of her own to follow, like you have right now with the whole champion thing. Being by your side, and arguably within your shadow, isn't enough for her. It'd be cute to have her as your little champion queen, but not at all realistic.
She's right, eventually when the time comes, you'll have to split so that the both of you can follow your dreams.
