"Applying the Up-Grade is the easy part, it doesn't hurt the thing so much as it makes it lighter, it's what you do afterwards that counts. Do you understand?"
"Yeah. So, what? You want a...virus or something?"

An upside-down Malamar floats over to the Porygon and inserts the Up-Grade into his coding. The Porygon promptly shuts down. The restraints are loosened, and using Psychic power, Malamar uplifts him from the operation table.
"I'm going to take this to the incubation chamber so that the Up-Grade can kick in. We'll continue toggling with its programming once it awakens in its new forme, then, we'll teach it as much as we can before distorting its programming entirely."
Malamar is about to leave the lab, when his assistant calls out to him.
"Um...Sir?"
"What is it?"
"I...I ..uh, I did more research on that Mega-Evolution stuff you were talking about, and uh...I have to say, it's really starting to interest me. Like, a lot. Do you think we could get in on that once the infection takes place?"
"...It's not an impossibility, but why?"
