Not significant remakes, Platinum with the Fairy Type should've been what we got rather than BDSP, but at the same time it would be really boring to 1:1 recreate your old ass work and just add one little thing. Mods might as well be the replacement for remakes, I for one am glad Game Freak are willing to experiment like this and not just pander to faggots wanting to relive their childhood with new products like bitch baby consoomers instead of just playing the old fuckin games
I think a core reason why BDSP are the way they are because RS were truly the last "original" era Pokemon games. Anything made after FRLG have had a completely different tone and portrayal to those original games and while RS are not Tajiri games, they are closer to direct continuations to Johto than anything that came afterward. There was never a reason to remake Sinnoh outside of said consoomers going "WE WANT SINNOH" and they got what they fucking deserved because Platinum is still one of the top pillars of this franchise and they STILL wanted more for some reason
