It also learned me to never give up.I loved gen 5, enjoyed gen 6 but I noticed how much worse it got by going 3D, I got Moon on premiere because I was hyped, sadly it felt flat and I had problems with finishing it.
Sw/Sh -I bought used for half price. Its ok game, but it REALLY feels like 30$ game.
PLA gave me hope I lost after Sw/Sh.
SV was good. Even with all problems it has it gives you solid fresh start.
Future looks bright, as next game should be a mix of SV and PLA (New gen always borrows from 2 previous games).
But for me overall, Pokemon is more than anime or games. It's about utopia I want to fight for, where animals and humans cooperate to make a better world.
The creature designs are still one of the best of its kind. It mixes kid friendly ideas with many well thought natural driven designs.
