I'm not 100% sure if this counts as an OC or not but I think it is
>Character
In a Pokémon game your rival is a tomboy. She's a tomboy so she never goes easy on you and targets you when your vulnerable like the old rivals but still has a very friendly relationship with your character so she isn't overly edgy like the old rivals. Her personality is how you would imagine a tomboy rival in a Pokémon game but as a side note she enjoys scuba diving. A minor reason why I decided she would enjoy scuba diving is because it's sporty which fits her character but the main reason she likes scuba diving is because it's a fetish of mine. I think it adds a good bit of personality to her but at the same time a rival should have a diverse typed team and I think this may make her too "water type focused".
>Pokémon
Pic related is her completed team. Her team is in order of when she gets her Pokémon e.g. first battle with her would involve a level 5 Totodile and her second battle would be with a level 8 Gible + level 10 Totodile. Pokémon with [Probable] are Pokémon that may be changed to other Pokémon depending on how the game is but fits her in my opinion while Pokémon with [Ace] are Pokémon that she definitely will have on all her teams.
>Feraligatr [Probable]
Most likely replaced with (Starter with type advantage over yours). I choose Feraligatr because it's the most 'tough' water type starter in my opinion.
>Garchomp [Ace]
It's a sea creature but isn't yet another water type. Also I think a pseudo legendary suits a strong rival.
>Aggron [Probable]
It's a tough Pokémon. Could be replaced for type coverage.
>Malamar [Probable]
It's feminine + it has type coverage. Could be replaced for alternative type coverage.
>Mismagius [Probable]
Same as above.
>Relicanth [Ace]
In the Hoenn games it can only be found through diving so it fits the scuba diving theme not just because it's a water type. She catches this Pokémon while scuba diving.
