I've always been pretty ass at Pokémon but I don't get how people could think Scarlet and Violet are any easier than anything prior to the 3DS games. Like, of course Scarlet is easy if you overlevel your starter, every single pokémon game becomes an ezpz speedrun if you do so, but Svarvio is still balanced around Exp All if you play the suggested progress path. It's still not a hard game because it's Pokémon kek but stuff like Iono's Mismagius is on par with the series' standard that people missed with X&Y.
In fact, I'd say Iono's Mismagius is a definitely more evil midgame strat for the computer than Elesa's Emolgas.
