As someone who works at a game store, your cards weren't worth shit. You MIGHT get $100 dollars for the entire collection if you kept them in great condition (you most likely didn't use sleeves so they are going to be dinged and scratched), but thats if you could find a buyer. Nobody wants them because everybody already has them and thinks they are money and is trying to sell them.
I feel sorry for my neighbor who knocked on my door asking me about his cards after he saw a video like that. Its like 90s comics all over again.
