Seriously, not every pokemon looks good flying. Archeops is one obvious example, but Mandibuzz is another big one. That thing looked perfect in Gen V - a smug ass bird that would balk your attacks before taunting/knocking off your held item and roosting in your goddamn face. Fucking look at it!

Not every pokemon looks good like this. Another minor example is Staraptor - it looked a lot more intimidating when it's little tassle on its head covered one half of its face. Another big example is fucking honchkrow - the big boss pokemon that is not flapping instead of sitting with its chest puffed out.
FUCK. I wouldn't care so much if flying types weren't my favourite
